Visiting a bar with a female friend, Anne meets up with a "personal shopper" working behind the counter. Her brief joy upon holding a limited-edition item released just that morning quickly turns into confusion when she is quoted a price far exceeding the retail value. While the seller defends it as "matching the market value," Anne pushes back fiercely, arguing that it is nothing more than scalping. As the night deepens, they trade words over the true value of their cherished collections and the items they desperately desire.
