Radford Theatre Company Presents Arthur Miller's "The Crucible"
A lie can condemn, the truth can destroy
Set in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1692, The Crucible follows a community thrown into chaos when a group of young girls are accused of witchcraft. At the centre of the hysteria is John Proctor, a respected farmer struggling with his past, his wife Elizabeth, and young girl Abigail Williams, whose accusations set the trials into motion. As fear, suspicion and personal vengeance take hold, the people of Salem must decide how far they are willing to go to protect their reputations and what they are willing to sacrifice for the truth.
