An inspiring story of determination and the human spirit, Crossings follows 23-year-old Edo Tanas, a three-time SUP foil world champion attempting a world first: a three-day solo foiling journey across the Hawaiian archipelago. With nothing more than his board and paddle, Edo journeys more than 270 miles from Hawaiʻi Island to Kauaʻi. As he encounters dangerous channels most boats avoid and endures unpredictable winds, shifting swells, and the physical toll of returning to the water day after day, nothing is guaranteed. Preparation can get Edo to the starting line. From there, the ocean has a say. Will the conditions align? Can his body withstand three days of relentless effort? Edo sets out alone to connect the islands in an entirely new way.
